More than half of the products sold in our store come from independent selling partners, most of which are small and medium-sized businesses. We provide these entrepreneurs with logistics, data insights, and a global customer base that they would struggle to access on their own. By lowering the barriers to entry, we have helped create a vibrant ecosystem of sellers who generate billions of dollars in sales annually. Sustainability and The Climate Pledge

In 2019, en-en-amazon co-founded The Climate Pledge, a commitment to be net-zero carbon across our business by 2040—10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement. To achieve this, we are transforming our transportation network with electric delivery vehicles, powering our operations with 100% renewable energy, and investing in nature-based solutions to remove carbon from the atmosphere.

We are the world's largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy. In the U.S., we have led the way by raising our starting wage to at least $15 an hour for all full-time, part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees.
